Hiking in the Holy Valley - Lebanon

Kadisha means " Holy" in Aramaic is nearby the Forest of the Cedars of God (described in ancient works on botany as the oldest tree in the world), and the valley sometimes called Holy Valley, has sheltered Christian monastic communities for many centuries.

Hiking there brings you a step closer to inner peace, joy. A five hours hike during which you get in touch with Holy nature, you rediscover organized wilderness, wild berries, apricots, pomegranate ... hanging from trees only to welcome you, on the way small fountains straight from the earth heart ready to tame your thirst. People who live in the valley are as wild as beautiful as their environment, generous and welcoming like the earth they live on.
